I’m Flavio Miguel, and I’ve been working as a makeup artist for more than 28 years and as a make-up Educator for the past twelve years.

Biography

Besides being a makeup artist, I’ve also worked for about nine years in Artist Relations, bridging relations with PR, Marketing, and Social Media departments. During this time, I was able to use my communications skills with the press, influencers, fashion designers, tv producers, the movie industry, and theatre makers.

As an event artist, I worked at fashion weeks worldwide, such as Paris, London, Copenhagen, São Paulo, and Amsterdam Fashion Week. It allowed me to work with brands like Vivianne Westwood, Iris van Herpen, Chloe, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, and Anya Hindmarch.

I’ve also participated in other projects such as Tomorrowland, MTV Europe Music Awards, Holland’s Next Top Model, Dutch Fashion Awards, and Fashion Clash Maastricht, among other things.

As a make-up educator, I was honored to share my experiences and knowledge with many organizations, such as “De Nationale Opera en Ballet” and “The Dungeon Amsterdam.” At the MAC Leidse Flagship Store, I was in the position to develop and manage different concepts of workshops, seminars, and masterclasses. This all was done for the make-up field. This would include make-up schools spread throughout the country, students, and pro-make-up artists.
